Request for Proposals - Kolb Park Playground Project

The City of Paducah Parks and Recreation Department is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the furnishing, delivery, and installation of new playground equipment, and optional safety surfacing for Kolb Park, located in Paducah’s Southside. This project is funded in whole or in part through a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and all applicable federal, state, and local requirements shall apply. Qualified vendors must be licensed and authorized to operate in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and must demonstrate experience in the design, supply, and installation of playground equipment and safety surfacing for public park facilities in compliance with all applicable standards, including National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) and Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) requirements.

The selected vendor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, demolition, hauling, installation, and related services necessary to complete the project in accordance with the specifications contained herein. The total project budget shall not exceed $199,000, and must be inclusive of all services, materials, installation, and applicable fees. Vendors are invited to submit a proposal in accordance with the requirements as described herein no later than 10:00 am on Thursday, May 14, 2026.

Request for Proposals - Shade Canopies in Noble Park

Qualified vendors must be licensed and authorized to operate in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and must demonstrate experience in the design, supply, and installation of shade canopies for public park facilities in compliance with all applicable standards. The selected vendor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, demolition, hauling, installation, and related services necessary to complete the project in accordance with the specifications contained herein.

Request for Proposals - City of Paducah Telecommunications Provider Franchise

The City of Paducah is soliciting proposals from parties interested in obtaining franchises to operate telecommunications systems within the confines of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, pursuant to Chapter 108 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah. Franchise(s) awarded pursuant to this Request for Proposals will be non-exclusive and will be for ten (10) years. Proposals must meet all the requirements of Chapter 108 of the Paducah Code of Ordinances.

Franchise applications may be obtained by downloading the Telecommunications Franchise Application or by contacting City Clerk Lindsay Parish at Telecommunicationspaducahky.gov or by mail at 300 South 5th Street, P.O. Box 2267, Paducah, KY 42002-2267 or by phone at 270-444-8506. 

All questions regarding the meaning or intent of the Telecommunications Ordinance or Application must be submitted to the City via email to Telecommunicationspaducahky.gov.

Sealed proposals should be sent to City Clerk, Lindsay Parish, 300 South 5th Street, P.O. Box 2267, Paducah, KY 42002-2267. Bids WILL NOT be accepted electronically.

The bid openings will occur quarterly on a rolling basis through 2026. Bid opening dates are as follows: June 3, 2026; September 2, 2026; and December 2, 2026. Sealed proposals must be received no later than 10:00 a.m., local time on the day of the opening. Proposals will be opened and read aloud publicly in the Commission Chambers of City Hall, located at 300 South 5th Street, Paducah, KY.
