KIDS TENNIS CARNIVAL: Paducah Parks & Recreation is hosting a Kids Tennis Carnival on Thursday, July 8 at the Noble Park Tennis Courts. The Carnival is a free event for boys and girls of all playing abilities. Children ages 5 through 9 will participate from 9 to 10 a.m. with children ages 10 through 14 enjoying the carnival from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. A variety of activities and games testing a player’s tennis skills will be part of the fun in addition to special prizes and treats.
Funding for the Tennis Carnival is provided by USTA Southern Diversity & Inclusion Grant. A second Kids Tennis Carnival will be held Tuesday, July 27 at the Noble Park Tennis Courts.
DRAW YOUR PARTNER DOUBLES: Paducah Parks & Recreation is hosting a social event for tennis enthusiasts. Draw Your Partner Doubles brings a unique style to traditional doubles tennis as partners for each participant will be randomly drawn throughout the evening.
The event will be Tuesday, July 13 at the Noble Park Tennis Courts with matches beginning at 6 p.m. Players may either attend as individuals or with a group. The free event is open to players 16 years of age and older. All playing abilities are welcome. Please bring your own tennis racket. Door prizes will be given out at the event to participants. Pre-registration is not required.
There will be another Draw Your Partner Doubles event on Monday, August 30 at 6 p.m.
