With the Juneteenth holiday on Wednesday, June 19, there are schedule changes for some City services.
- Garbage Collection There will be NO residential garbage collection on Wednesday, June 19. Wednesday’s routes will be collected Thursday, June 20 along with the Thursday routes.
- Compost Facility The City of Paducah Compost Facility located at 1560 North 8th Street is closed to the public on Wednesday, June 19.
- City Hall City Hall located at 300 South 5th Street and other city offices will be closed Wednesday, June 19.
- Pool The Noble Park Pool is OPEN on June 19 from 12 until 7 p.m.
The community is invited to attend Paducah’s 3rd Annual Juneteenth Celebration on June 19 presented by the NAACP and The Carson Center in partnership with the City of Paducah. The program will begin in the theater at the The Carson Center, followed by a meal and concert on the lawn. Learn More and Purchase Tickets.
